| | | Program Overview: | Studying the Curtin Graduate School of Business MBA online gives students the flexibility to design a study plan that fits their learning style and individual lifestyle demands. Students enrolled in the MBA program can study selected units online using the latest software that enables content specific learning and interaction with fellow students. This allows students to complete course units online at a time and place convenient to them.
Working on a 12-week trimester system, a typical week online includes a self-assessment, discussion with classmates, a variety of assessable activities (e.g. a minor case study or multiple choice quiz) and readings from a textbook or website.
To attest Curtin's excellence in online learning, the Graduate School of Business e-Learning program won the education category of the Asia Pacific (Western Australian) Yellow Pages Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T) Award in 2001. | | Study Mode: | Full Time, Part Time, Online, | | Program Locations: | Perth | | Fees Australian: | AUD$21,000 | | Fees International: | AUD$29,000 | | Program Specialisations: | Corporate Administration, eCommerce, Engineering Management, Finance, Futures Studies, Health Management, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Management, Language and Culture, Leadership, Logistics, Management Accounting, Marketing, Mineral Economics, Procurement, Public Relations, Public Sector Management, Research, Small Business and Entrepreneurship and Strategy. | | Total Units: | 7 Core, 5 Elective | | Core Units: | business administration, cleaner production, corporate administration, electronic commerce, engineering management, finance, future studies, health management, human resource management, industrial relations, information systems, information systems planning, international management, language and culture, law, leadership, management accounting, marketing, mineral economics, project management, public relations, quantitative management techniques | | Completion Time Comments: | 1 years or 3 semesters for full-time, 2 years or 4 semesters for part-time | | When Held: | Day, evening, intensive blocks, summer school, weekends, residential, Online | | Entry Requirements: | At graduate level, students have the opportunity to learn from fellow students as well as through their academic program.
